Strategic Planning

Strategy is a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. However, many organizations do not have a plan of action or policy designed to achieve organizational objectives. TJP helps clients close the gap between current and desired states. TJP gathers data to obtain a comprehensive overview of the client’s organization and focus on the core problems and challenges to develop a model that captures the root causes of inefficiencies and provide the client with alternative that optimize performance. For instance, we look at gaps mandated behaviors and actual practices, actual practices often reflect cultural norms as opposed to organizational procedures. We also evaluate administrative capacity and organizational learning. Organizational learning is contingent on employees’ learning, but employee learning is only a necessary condition for organizational learning.

Maintenance Procedures

Is your production equipment unreliable and costly due to lack of structured maintenance? TJP can help your organization develop a structured maintenance regime, using your computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). We evaluate manufacturers’ maintenance recommendations, reliability and cost records from CMMS’ or manual data and develop a structured maintenance regimes with the organization’s personnel to ensure learning, commitment and involvement. We also examine and optimize existing maintenance regimes, in some instance organizations are either over or under PMing their productive assets.

Spend Analysis and Assessment

Spend analysis is the process of collecting, cleansing, classifying and analyzing expenditure data with the purpose of decreasing procurement costs, improving efficiency, and monitoring compliance. TJP creates a roadmap for analyzing organizational spending in all areas, even for custodial outlays where we breakdown cost by square inch of, say paper towels, and provides clients with more cost effective alternates that saves millions of dollars.

In many organizations procurement are not staffed for conducting spend analysis, others are disconnected from their internal clients, such as maintenance and production, and do not conduct periodic assessment of repetitive purchases that have experienced costly bracket creep or are unaware of the latest cost effective substitutes. TJP will expeditiously perform procurement spend analysis, identify high cost outlays and seek cost effective substitutes. Our reports include clear targets, savings and ROI estimates and a roadmap for execution.

Economics Analysis

TJP performs economic research in a variety of areas. For instance, it looks at relevant economic variables and uses theoretical frames, as well as econometric and other statistical analyses to predict potential outcomes that affects gross domestic product and organizational revenues.

Assessment and Cost Reduction

TJP uses sharp image diagnosis to move quickly from the stated problems to the identification of underlying forces that produce ineffective outcomes. Steps in the Sharp-Image Diagnosis:1

Apply Theoretical Frames:
– Gather data on operations, focus on core problems and challenges.
– Organize problems and challenges, link them to organizational features.

Develop a diagnostic model
– Develop a model that captures the nature of critical challenges and roots of inefficient outcomes.
– Feedback model and relevant data.
